Today I went to the FireKeepers casino and hotel for my 25th birthday to play the slot machines and hopefully walk out a rich man. The latter did not happen but I soon figured out what the casino meant by “getting your Vegas on” because it very much felt like Las Vegas with all of the gambling, greed, and money evil filling the air. The most I won on a machine was 12 dollars but this made up for half of the twenty that I started with. I’ve never gambled in my life so I was very conservative on the machines, betting the minimal almost the whole time, only going to the next betting level when I got on a hot streak and was feeling confident, only to start losing it all again.
This picture is of a centerpiece structure in the casino. It is some sort of column with interweaving bars going around it, resembling flames rising up the structure as fire is the theme of the casino. It is something that can be perfectly framed in a picture and put on a wall.
